Frankie was diagnosed with stage 4 high risk Neuroblastoma and has been through hell these past 18 months with treatment. Sadly news has came that despite recently appearing to be in an improved place of health that he has suffered a relapse and doctors have said they will continue chemo to prolong his life indicating the worst possible outcome for all concerned.

Higham Lakes organise a fantastic yearly event and are one of only a few who do this for charity. We will have an amazing display of top quality fireworks from epic and standard along with our fire performer from The Entertainment Directors. We will be selling hot food and drinks, a licensed bar and glow sticks etc.
NO SPARKLERS PLEASE as safety is paramount at this family event.

The Nativity walk starts from St John Vianney RC Church to the The Church of the Holy Nativity at Chapel House and features the Salvation Army Band as an extra special touch of Christmas cheer!

Take on the challenge of running the length of the River Tyne from Source to Sea.
In support of Daft as a Brush, The Tyne Trail Ultra Race Series are all events following the course of the mighty River Tyne from Source to Sea. The trail encompasses Northern Europe’s largest man-made lake, vestiges of Roman, early Christian heritage and railway history as well as the regeneration and transformation of one of the world’s most foremost shipbuilding regions, a portion of ticket sales goes directly to Daft as a Brush.
The Tyne Trail Ultra Race Series offers two fully supported challenges from each of the North Tyne and South Tyne sources to sea.

• North Tyne 27th April 2017 – Source to Sea 150km, North Tyne Trail 75km.
