Your journey to recovery with Daft as a Brush
Daft as a Brush works closely with the NHS to support cancer patients by providing free, reliable transport to and from hospital appointments. Through referrals from NHS trusts and clinical teams, the charityβs volunteer drivers help patients attend chemotherapy, radiotherapy and follow-up visits without the stress or cost of travel. This partnership removes a major practical barrier to treatment, offering reassurance to patients and families while enabling the NHS to focus on delivering care.
Public support is vital to the work of Daft as a Brush, enabling the charity to continue offering free transport to cancer patients when they need it most. Donations, fundraising and your involvement from the community help cover essential costs such as vehicles, fuel, and coordination, ensuring no patient is left worrying about how they will get to treatment. Thank you.Β
