Volunteer at Daft as a Brush Cancer Patient Care
Daft as a Brush depends on our fantastic volunteers, without them, the charity could not operate our free patient transport service.
Daft as a Brush provide free transport to patients receiving cancer treatment at the Northern Centre for Cancer Care (Freeman Hospital). We have a fleet of distinctive ambulances, manned by a dedicated and compassionate team of volunteer drivers and companions. We have been serving the North East for over ten years, taking the stress and worry of hospital journeys away from patients, allowing them to focus on their treatment and recovery.
