Finance, Impact and ESG Lead

Band: 2
Hours: 14.8 hours per week (2 days)
Salary: £22,500 per annum (0.5 FTE)

Job Purpose

To provide strategic financial leadership, impact measurement, ESG reporting, sustainability planning, and organisational performance analysis, ensuring the charity remains compliant, future proof and accountable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic financial insight to the CEO and trustees, including modelling, forecasting and scenario planning.
  • Lead management accounts, statutory accounts and SORP compliance including policy leadership and Board training.
  • Design and deliver impact measurement, ESG and sustainability reporting frameworks.
  • Deliver KPI-based reporting for SLAs and funding agreements.
  • Own finance and impact reporting systems and ensure data quality and BI dashboard reporting.
  • Lead internal control strategy, risk escalation and GDPR compliance for finance/impact data.
  • Present to Board and committees on financial and impact performance.

Job Purpose

To deliver high quality digital marketing campaigns that support income generation, volunteer engagement, and brand visibility. The role will manage social media, email marketing, website, and digital content creation, ensuring accessibility and alignment with organisational objectives and brand guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Campaign Delivery

  • Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, and paid channels.
  • Monitor campaign performance and optimise for engagement and ROI.

Website & Content Management

  • Maintain and update the charity’s website, ensuring accessibility and SEO best practice.
  • Create engaging digital content, including graphics, videos, and blogs.

Accessibility

  • Ensure all digital channels and content meet accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and are inclusive for diverse audiences.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and report on digital performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Provide insights to inform future campaigns and strategy.

Collaboration

Qualifications

  • Experience in marketing, communications, or digital media.
  • Professional digital marketing qualification (e.g., CIM, Google Analytics certification) desirable.

Experience

  • Proven experience in managing social media and digital campaigns.
  • Experience with website CMS, SEO, and email marketing platforms.
  • Charity sector experience desirable.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is preferred, along with experience in digital and lithographic print technologies.
  • Managing and updating our website using WordPress CMS / Avada is also highly desirable.

Job Purpose

To lead the charity’s income generation strategy, ensuring sustainable growth through diversified fundraising streams. The role will manage and develop the fundraising team, oversee campaigns and donor engagement, and deliver against KPIs to secure income from events, corporate partnerships, community fundraising, and digital channels. This position will play a critical role in supporting organisational sustainability, building strong donor relationships, and integrating marketing and digital strategies to maximise reach and impact.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Income Generation Leadership

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive income generation strategy aligned with organisational objectives.
  • Diversify income streams across events, corporate partnerships, community fundraising, and digital campaigns.
  • Set and monitor fundraising KPIs, ensuring delivery against targets and SLAs.

Team Management & Development
